The spindle moulder is one of the most versatile machines in a workshop, but it’s often feared. We’ll cover safe use and setup, rebating, shaping, using formers, tenons, power feeds, jig making, and guarding. Demonstrations are combined with practical experience for students to gain confidence, knowledge, and practice. We’ll also cover rebating, grooving, tenoning, using a power-feed unit, and ring fences.

Testimonial:

Had a totally fabulous days course here. Jo kept me well informed with regards to the course and Theo ran the course on the day. Theo covered both practical and theory regarding spindle moulders . Use, set-up and real world use, learning hands on. Theo is a very good instructor and his years of experience in the workshop and industry showed.
I learned heaps and came away with confidence and knowledge – highly recommend.
Thanks to the team at RHS

Spindle moulder course – covered all the basics and included plenty of hands-on experience. Theo was a font of knowledge on the machine and cabinet making generally. A useful and enjoyable day!
