Marc’s lessons at RHS
Marc carries out weekly meetings with students and is on-hand to discuss any design or making issues that may arise. Both Marc and Theo work closely with students to make sure they are on track to complete the curriculum for their course and producing work of the highest standard. Some courses result in qualifications, here both tutors and an outside expert will examine the work produced.

Marc began making furniture twenty years ago…
After mastering the skills used by craftsmen for centuries, Marc explored new materials and ways to produce fluid, sculptural pieces inspired by the curvilinear forms of Art Nouveau. His process pushes the limits of 21st Century furniture design and transcends the barriers of art, design, sculpture and furniture.
More recently exploring Victorian obsession with natural history, Marc’s One Series are created through an extensive mastery of the most refined practices in micro stack-lamination today. Marc’s studio is world renowned in the use of veneer as their sole raw material. Marc has developed new techniques and utilised modern technology to create a unique and special body of work. Each piece uses the finest veneers and natural finishes, from gold to squid ink.
The sublime, sumptuous and unique works possess a timelessness that enables them to sit comfortably in the most contemporary of settings to the more traditional.
Marc has produced pieces for international collectors, private clients, and interior designers, and has exhibited world wide.
