Next course date: 11-12 May 2019
This two-day weekend course is an intensive, hands-on introduction to the sophisticated techniques used in the composites industry. It’s perfect for complete beginners, as well as those with some knowledge or experience in working with composites, as you’ll learn more advanced techniques than the traditional ‘hand lay-up.’ You will make a carbon fibre tray to take home with you, as well as the mould, so you’ll gain an excellent understanding of the processes required to make a carbon fibre piece, from start to finish. We will also discuss applications in furniture and ways of incorporating these materials and techniques into your own designs and projects.
