Our two-day weekend course is an intensive hands-on introduction to the sophisticated techniques used in the composites industry. It is aimed at complete beginners but those with some knowledge or experience working with composites will benefit from learning the more advanced techniques than the traditional ‘hand lay-up’. You will make a carbon fibre tray to take home with you as well as the mould, so you will gain an excellent understanding of the processes required to make a carbon fibre part from start to finish. We will also discuss applications in furniture and ways of incorporating these materials and techniques into your own designs and projects.
